PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a long tire cord which can maintain the strength and diameter of a joined cord at the same values as those of the main body of the cord, to provide a long tire cord obtained by efficiently taking out a warp as the cord from a treated cord fabric produced by joining the warps of the end portions of woven fabrics to each other, and to provide a pneumatic tire reinforced with the cords. SOLUTION: This tire cord 1 obtained by joining the ends of two cords 11, 12 comprising many filaments to each other is characterized by untwisting cord end portions corresponding to a joining portion 13 in bamboo broom-like states, butting the bamboo broom-like filaments to each other in an interlaced state, imparting an adhesive 14 to the interlaced portion, and pulling the joined portion 13 in the longitudinal direction of the cord before the curing of the adhesive to bond the filaments to each other in the interlaced and arranged state.
