PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive composition and an adhesive usable as an adhesive for the mutual bonding of polyolefin parts or the bonding of a polyolefin and a metal or as a heat-sealing agent, a raw material for a coating material for polyolefin part or metal part or as a primer. SOLUTION: The adhesive composition is at least composed of a modified polyolefin resin obtained by grafting a part or total of a polyolefin resin with an unsaturated carboxylic acid or its derivative and a bivalent metal compound.
