PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluorine-containing polymer excellent in the transparency and in the mechanical strengths at ordinary temperature and elevated temperatures and to provide a film therefrom. SOLUTION: The fluorine-containing polymer comprises an ethylene-based polymerization unit, a tetrafluoroethylene-based polymerization unit, a hexafluoropropylene-based polymerization unit and a perfluoro(alkyl vinyl ether)-based polymerization unit, with a molar ratio of the ethylene-based polymerization unit/the tetrafluoroethylene-based polymerization unit being 10/90 to 60/40, and a content of the hexafluoropropylene-based polymerization unit relative to the whole polymerization units being 0.1-1.0% by mole, and the content of the perfluoro(alkyl vinyl ether)-based polymerization unit relative to the whole polymerization units being 0.1-1.0% by mole.
