PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in which an impression of a picture changes and a sense of incompatibility is given when positive/negative inversion or image shifting of characters etc., is performed to prevent sticking of an organic EL display. SOLUTION: For example, a control part 23 and two shift parts 24 and 25 control a data line driving part 22, then, an entire display picture displayed over the entire display part 1 or the address of the display part 1 where a graphic picture should be displayed is shifted to an address selected cyclically or at random out of a plurality of predetermined addresses. The entire picture is shifted, so that the impression of the picture does not change so much whereas a position of each pixel shifts to prevent sticking of the screen. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
