The bed frame (1) is assembled from side sections (2) extending between a head board and a foot board (3) and supported by feet, attached to the bed frame at its corners. Each support foot (4) has a clamp section (4.2) cooperating with a clamp piece (5), both of which are provided with retaining elements (5.2,4.4) for securing the end of a side section and either the head board or the foot board. The abutting surfaces of the side sections and the head board or foot board are each angled at 45 degrees and all parts of the bed frame can be made of wood.
