<p>The invention relates to tablets and film-coated tablets containing as active ingredient citalopram hydrobromide having a median particle size of less than 40 µm in admixture with microcrystalline cellulose having a median particle size in the range of 90-250 µm and other excipients conventionally applied for the preparation of tablets. The invention also provides a process for the preparation thereof.</p>
