<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sample detection device having an electrode and electrode wiring for performing power supply surely and simply, concerning the disk-type sample detection device, and a sample detection apparatus equipped with a connector for supplying the power to the sample detection device. <P>SOLUTION: On dick-shaped substrates 1a, 1b transmitting a light beam a, wiring patterns 5a, 5b connected to a liquid reservoir 3 in a passage 4, the second electrode 6 connected to an inlet 2 of the passage 4, a first electrode contact 7 for supplying an external power to the first electrode 5, a second electrode contact 8 for supplying the external power to the second electrode 6, and a wiring pattern 5b for connecting the first electrode 5 to the first electrode contact 8 are formed. The first electrode contact 7 and the second electrode contact 8 are formed approximately circularly and concentrically so as not to be mutually in electrical contact near the center part of the substrates 1a, 1b.
