<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC card connector capable of handling and connecting a sheet-shaped IC card to a parent circuit without hindrance by using a simple and small structure even at a beach or outdoors under rain. <P>SOLUTION: The IC card connector comprises a card housing/connection part 120 which receives, holds, houses and connects the IC card 600 while holding a connector contact 110 connected to the parent circuit board 700 in a manner that a contact thereof can elastically displace. A card guiding passage sealing member 130 provided with a slit having a protrusion 132 for sealing is arranged at a card insertion part of the card housing/connection part 120, and a water drop rejecting part 300 on which a slit provided with a protrusion 330 for water drop removal is arranged in front of the card insertion part. A connector case 200 airtightly covering the periphery of whole part including the card guiding passage sealing member 130, the card housing/connection part 120, and the parent circuit board 700 is provided, and further, a cap 400 for card insertion part covering the card insertion part is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
