<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle operating device which is operated easily by anybody. <P>SOLUTION: The on-vehicle operating device is structured in a manner that power windows may be controlled by touch-operation of icons 51 to 58 displayed on a display of a touch panel 41, in which the icons 55, 56 are for setting on/off of a simultaneous movement of all the windows, icons 51 to 54 are for displaying open/close state of each of the windows in real time, and icons 57, 58 are for giving instructions for open/close. The device is also structured to enable simultaneous open/close of the windows by a single action and to enable minor adjustment of open/close of the windows easily while visually confirming the display. The touch panel 41 is disposed in a console box or the like where anybody may operate it so that not only a driver but also the others may operate it easily.
