WOUND IRON CORE AND TRANSFORMER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wound iron core and a transformer in which the characteristics and merits of an electromagnetic steel plate having high directivity can be sufficiently utilized.

SOLUTION: Unit iron cores 2a are constituted by cutting off a wound band-like electromagnetic steel plate, and in the case of forming a junction part 5 by abutting respective cut ends 4, the cut ends 4 are inclined at an angle of 50-75°from a winding direction. Then the unit iron cores 2 are laminated so as to mutually have wraps 6 in the vicinity of the junction 5.
