<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-cost solar cell capable of outputting like the conventional model, free of long-term reliability degradation, and fabricated without acid treatment or solder layer formation on the electrode surface to follow electrode formation by baking from above the antireflection film. <P>SOLUTION: The solar cell comprises a semiconductor substrate of one conductivity type with a diffusion layer of the other conductivity type formed on its front surface, an antireflection film and a front-surface electrode provided thereon, and a rear-surface electrode provided on the rear surface of the semiconductor substrate. The front-surface electrode is composed mainly of Ag, and contains 0.05-5 pts.wt. in terms of metal of one or more kinds selected from the group consisting of Co, Zn, Zr, Fe, Cr, and their compounds against the Ag 100 pts.wt. The electrode also contains 0.1-5 pts.wt. of group V elements in the periodic table or their compounds. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
