PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a broadcasting station to obtain information on what kind of viewers watch what kind of programs at each home. SOLUTION: Personal information on a user 11entered into a remote controller 101in advance, where the identification symbol of the remote controller 101is added, is transferred from a television receiver 20 to an audio-visual information collection server 30, and is related to the identification symbol of the remote controller 101for registering in the information collection server 30. The operation information of the television receiver 20 entered into the remote controller 101when viewing is started, where the identification symbol of the remote controller 101is added, is transmitted to the television receiver 20. The television receiver 20 starts operating based on the operation information, and detects the state information of the television receiver 20 including the audio-visual information for identifying a program viewed in the operation. The state information of the television receiver 20 is transferred to the viewing information collection server 30 with the identification symbol of the remote controller 101, and is related to the identification symbol of the remote controller 101for registering into the information collection server 30.
