<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooker that prevents the discoloring of a table and a temperature drop of an inner pot and hygienically controls a top plate. <P>SOLUTION: The cooker 1 includes a cooker body 2 including a body case 3 to which the top plate 5 having a top board made of a nonmagnetic material in a top face opening is attached, a heater made of a main induction coil 14 provided in the body case 3, a control device 47 controlling the output and energization time of the heater, and a main operating section 11 to input operation information to the control device 47, and a cooker (rice cooker 19) including an inner pot 41 heated by the heater, a pot vessel 20 for removably accommodating the inner pot 41, and a lid 43 openably closing the top face opening of the pot vessel 20.
