PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the weight of a buckle not only for cost reduction but also for comfortableness to a user. SOLUTION: The buckle is consist of a male portion and a female portion, and the female portion has a top surface, a bottom surface, and a recessed portion for receiving the male portion. The male portion is fitted to the male portion and the two portions of the buckle are mutually locked. At least part of the female portion is formed of a screen integrally molded from the same material as that of the rest of the female portion, and has a thickness smaller than that of the female portion.
