DATA TRANSMISSION/RECEPTION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten communication time in a data transmission/reception system in which a measuring instrument and a reader perform data communication through a data repeater. SOLUTION: In the data transmission/reception system where a measuring instrument 10 and a reader 30 perform data communication through the data repeater 20, the measuring instrument 10 is provided with a contact point for supplying power to the data repeater 20 and a contact point for transmitting measured data. The data repeater 20 is provided with: a first transmission/reception circuit 23 which performs non-contact communication and generates inner power supply voltage from energy received through the non-contact communication; a control circuit 21 which receives power from the first transmission/reception circuit 23 and the measuring instrument 10 and performs control; and a memory 22 which receives power from the first transmission/reception circuit 23 and the measuring instrument 10 and stores data.
