BAROMETRIC ALTIMETER FOR FLYING BODY AND ITS ERROR CORRECTION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a barometric altimeter and its error correction method capable of correctly detecting the altitude of a flying body only using the barometric measurement without using information regarding the body attitude or speed, and without deceleration by using a deceleration device. SOLUTION: The flying body comprises: a barometric altimeter 10 for detecting the altitude of the flying body 1 having a cylindrical outer surface 2a with a center axis in a flying direction x; a plurality of static pressure holes 12 provided in a constant interval from the top of flying direction on the cylindrical outer surface 2a; a mean static pressure detector 14 for detecting the mean static pressure of the plurality of the static pressure holes; a total pressure detector 16 provided on the top of the flying direction for detecting the total pressure; and an altitude operation device 18 for calculating the altitude by correcting the mean static pressure during flying with the detected mean static pressure and the total pressure.
