ELECTRIC BLOWER AND VACUUM CLEANER USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly efficient electric blower, and to provide an electric blower with reduced noises and a vacuum cleaner. SOLUTION: This electric blower 1 comprises: a bracket 12 including an electric motor 15; an impeller 16 rotary-driven by the electric motor 15; a fan case 18 having a suction port 24 and covering the impeller 16; an opening 25 formed in a periphery of the fan case 18 and releasing part of air from the impeller 16 to the outside; and an exhaust guide 27 facing at least a part of the opening 25. Since exhaust air from the fan case 18 smoothly flows along the exhaust guide 27, efficiency of the electric blower 1 is improved and the noise is reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
