PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air pressure drop sensing method for a tire capable of enhancing the accuracy of decompression judgement. SOLUTION: The air pressure drop sensing method for the tire is to sense the drop of the tire air pressure on the basis of the wheel rotation information obtained from the tire fitted on a vehicle. The method and its program include a process to sense the wheel rotation information about each tire, a process to optimize the threshold of the judged value for sensing the drop of the air pressure to a threshold stored previously on the basis of the tire information obtained from a wireless type ID tag embedded in the tire, a process to calculate the judged value, and a process to judge the drop of the tire air pressure using the optimum threshold.
