PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover for a steering shaft easily assembled to a vehicle and surely preventing a foreign matter from entering a joint part, and also to provide its assembly structure. SOLUTION: A cover body 18 for covering a first and second shafts 13a, 13b of the steering shaft 13 is formed to be a cylindrical shape having one opening side surface by a synthetic resin material. Fixing parts 20A, 20B for being fixed to a floor panel 11 and a dash panel 12 of the vehicle are provided on the end part of the cover body 18.
