PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plunger type injection molding machine capable of efficiently adding fluid-like additives to a resin material and stirring the resin material in a barrel not only to accelerate the plasticization of the resin material but also to uniformize a temperature and the concentration of the fluid-like additives to discharge the resin material. SOLUTION: A spiral guide groove 51 is formed to the side peripheral surface of the plunger 5c arranged in the barrel 3c while a ball member 6 possible to race is arranged to the inner wall surface of the barrel 3c to be locked with the spiral guide groove 51 and the stirrer structure 52 formed to the leading end of the barrel 3c is integrally rotated along with the plunger 5 accompanied by the advance and retreat of the plunger 5c. A slot is formed to the plunger 5 so as to allow the leading end part and base end part 54 of the plunger 5c to communicate with each other to form an additive injection hole 53 in which a porous body for preventing the penetration of the viscous resin material but permitting the passage of gas or a low viscosity liquid is inserted and the base end part 54 of the plunger 5c is pressed by the pressure of the fluid-like additives to advance the plunger 5c.
