PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a field service staff to easily check a trouble spot and perform proper recovery operations, because a good deal of knowledge and experience are required for the recovery of a function of a droplet ejector. SOLUTION: The droplet ejector, which has an ejection head capable of adaptively deflecting and ejecting droplets to a plurality of pixel areas from one ejection port, is provided with a storage part 3 for retaining information on the state of the ejection head, and a communication part 4 which communicates with an image processor connected to the outside via a communication passage, so as to transmit the information on the state.
