PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a product having a new packaging form, palate feeling and flavor. SOLUTION: A method for producing hermetically sealed sweet rice jelly 1 comprises hermetically sealing sweet rice jelly dough with a 3-side sealing filling packaging machine and heating the product to make a production form. The hermetically sealed sweet rice jelly 1 thus produced is formed as an individual packaging bag by packaging sweet rice jelly with a packaging film 5 and sealing a longitudinal sealing part 7 and horizontal sealing parts 8 (a lower horizontal sealing part 8a and an upper horizontal sealing part 8b). The basic raw material of the sweet rice jelly has as the main ingredient a thickening gelling agent instead of conventional rice powder and is mixed with water, sugar and processed starch.
