PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-performance chair which provides a comfortable cushion property by a cushion part without producing undesired sound at sitting, and in which the cushion part is effectively prevented from being exposed from the opening part of a core material part and the cushion part can not be directly touched. SOLUTION: The chair A is provided with the core material part 1, the cushion part 2 disposed on the surface side of the core material part 1, and facing cloth 3 covering the core material part 1 and the cushion part 2. The core material part 1 is provided with a surface side opening part X opened on the surface side and a back surface side opening part Y communicated with the surface side opening part X and opened on a back surface side evading the overlap with the surface side opening part X in the plane view. Air inside the cushion part 2 compressed between the facing cloth 3 and the core material part 1 by sitting is guided from the surface side opening part X and discharged from the back surface side opening part Y.
