PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner with which images maintaining high sharpness and more particularly high transferability can be obtained even in use for a long time. SOLUTION: The toner containing at least coloring particles having a binder resin and a colorant, and inorganic particulates (A) is characterized in that (i) the binder resin contains at least a polyester unit, (ii) the mean circularity is 0.915 to 0.960 in the toner particles of≥2μm in the diameter of the equivalent circle, and (iii) the particulates (A) are 1.0 to <1.5 in the aspect ratio (major axis/minor axis ratio) on the toner surface and 0.06 to 0.30μm in the number average grain size on the toner surface.
