The invention relates to a device for ultrasonic welding especially for welding strand-type, solid wire-type or stranded wire-type products and/or tubes, especially corrugated hoses or the like, especially produced from metal or synthetic material. Said device comprises a sonotrode (1) generating ultrasonic vibrations, and two anvils (2, 2') that form, when seen in the welding state from a cross-sectional view, especially from a radial view of the product to be welded, a compaction compartment for compacting and/or slightly deforming the product to be welded which extends through the sonotrode (1) and the anvils (2, 2'). The two anvils (2, 2') are movably mounted relative each other. The device is characterized in that the two anvils (2, 2') at least partially perform, when swiveled towards each other, a displacing movement in the direction of the sonotrode (1). |
