A wireless tag label making apparatus such that the dimensions of a wireless tag can be varied depending on the print on the wireless tag. The apparatus comprises a first strip-shaped base (80) having a printable surface, a second strip-shaped base (82) bondable to the first base (80), a thermal head (34) for giving a predetermined print on the printable surface of the first base (80), a first take-up roller (92) for bonding the first and second bases (80, 82) to form a tag tape (26) while placing a wireless tag circuit (24a) between the first and second bases (80, 82), a second take-up roller (98), a press roller (100), a cutter (50) for cutting the formed tag tape (26), and a tag tape cutting control section (150) for varying the cutting length of the tag tape (26) cut by the cutter (50) according to printed characters (102) on the first base (80) in such a way that at least one wireless tag circuit (24a) is included. Therefore, the dimensions of the wireless tag label (24) can be varied considering the printed characters (102) on the first base (80).
