<p>The present invention relates to a portable liquid crystal eye shield powered by a solar battery, which can adjust transmission index of light in response to the intensity of surroundings. It includes a mask (1), a glass shield (2), a solar energy receptor (11), a liquid crystal panel (3) and a circuit system. The solar cell (11) is mounted on the mask (1). The liquid crystal panel (3) is mounted on the inner surface of the glass shield (2). The circuit system includes a controlling circuit (20), a high voltage generating circuit (30) and a driving circuit (40), the liquid crystal panel (3) is connected to the output of the driving circuit (40). The solar energy received by the solar energy receptor (11) is stored in a solar battery and serves as the power source (10) of the circuit system. The power source (10) is connected to the driving circuit (40) via the controlling circuit (20) and the high voltage generating circuit (30). There are a eyelet (12) and a strip (13) on the each side of the mask and a nose-bridge (14) on the middle part of the mask. There is a zipper (15) fitted to the mask to make it foldable. The eye shield can be shaped like a pair of glasses.</p> |
