<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method to evaluate a frame error rate (FER) regarding a communication link selected in a communication network. <P>SOLUTION: The link exists between a MIMO transmitter provided with one base station or a mobile user terminal and a MIMO receiver provided with another one base station or the mobile user terminal. The method comprises the processes of: with respect to the link to exist between the MIMO transmitter provided with one base station or the mobile user terminal and the MIMO receiver provided with another one base station or the mobile user terminal, deciding a momentary channel capacity value of a MIMO channel of the mobile user terminal in a plurality of moments extending over a prescribed time; deciding a channel capacity level that any of the momentary channel capacity value processed by the above value is lower than a prescribed probability; and providing a FER value by looking up a prescribed compared-and-corrected data having the channel capacity level to the FER. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
