<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly precisely calculate a composite signal even when fading occurs in a radar device having an array antenna. <P>SOLUTION: The radar device comprises an orthogonal PN signal generator 2 for generating training pulses when judging that fading occurs, to transmit them to array antennas 6-1, 6-2; a correlative processing unit 11 for calculating a correlation matrix from a receiving vector to the training pulses; an eigenvector estimating instrument 12 for calculating an eigenvector from correlation matrix; and a maximum ratio synthesizer 13 for calculating the composite signal of the array antennas 6-1, 6-2, by multiplying the receiving vector by the eigenvector, as a maximum ratio synthesizing weight. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
