<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an increase in power consumption at a low clock frequency and to deal with a larger image size or an increase in motion picture processing. <P>SOLUTION: An image input means 1, an image display means 2, a storage means 3, a communication means 4 and a system control means 5 are connected through a system bus line 6. Noncompression image data inputted from the image input means 1 are compressed by an image compressing means 1a incorporated in the image input means 1 or disposed contiguously thereto before being transferred to the storage means 3 through the system bus line 6. Compression image data stored in the storage means 3 are transferred through the system bus line 6 to an image extracting means 2a, and they are decompressed and reproduced before being displayed by the image display means 2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
