<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set calculation digits of calculation freely by a calculation instruction, and execute calculations of the set calculation digits efficiently with small scale calculating means. <P>SOLUTION: A decimal calculation device for setting calculation digits by a calculation instruction and performing multi-digit decimal calculations comprises multi-digit storing means capable of storing values of digits more than the digits of a predetermined digit unit in a plurality of storage areas, calculation instruction storing means for storing a calculation instruction setting calculation digits and a calculation type, and decimal calculating means for, sequentially about the digit units of the calculation digits set in the calculation instruction stored in the calculation instruction storing means, subjecting the values in corresponding digit units stored in the plurality of storage areas of the multi-digit storing means to decimal calculations depending on the calculation type set in the calculation instruction stored in the calculation instruction storing means, and writing the calculation results of the digit units sequentially in the plurality of storage areas of the multi-digit storing means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
