HAIR TRIMMER FOR USE IN SELF-CUTTING OR ON OTHERS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric hair trimmer with a blade teeth structure which can reduce indents by hair cutting and effectively guide a blade set to retain hair into a cutting zone.

SOLUTION: A blade set 16 for this hair trimmer comprises a stationary blade 18 with a plurality of stationary blade teeth 50 and a movable blade 20 with a plurality of movable blade teeth 52. The hair trimmer is structured so that the movable blade 20 is reciprocally moved in the lateral direction against the stationary blade 18. The movable blade teeth 52 are extended over the stationary blade teeth to form a cutting zone wherein the movable blade teeth 52 and the stationary blade teeth 50 are overlapped. Those blade teeth guide hair strands toward the cutting zone so as to retain the hair strands in the cutting zone.
