<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce man-hour for creating a work program of a robot. <P>SOLUTION: In work operations of the robot, work operations (200, 201, 205 and 206) common to respective works irrespective of a type of the work being an object of work and a work operation (203) changed by the work exist. Work program definition data composed of a first program part which requires a change depending on the work and a second program part which does not depend on the type of the work are set and stored. Work part definition data showing position posture information on the work are inputted and stored. The first program part is changed based on first program part before the change and work part definition data and the first program part is completed. Only work part definition data are inputted to the new work and the work program can be created.
