PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fire-extinguishing device in which doors for water discharge are installed in a tank, a complicated and expensive hydraulic driving device on a door installed on the outside of a conventional tank is omitted, a simple system to drive a motor instead is employed, the cost, the weight, the power consumption and the maintenance cost are considerably reduced, and the reliability is enhanced. SOLUTION: A plurality of circular doors are installed in a tank, a driving shaft and a link are arranged to open/close the doors, and a motor which is gear-reduced by a worm gear is installed. The door enhances the water discharge effect from the tank by releasing an opening/closing shaft thereof from an edge of the door. The door is opened by a spring, and the door is rapidly opened when water is discharged against the water pressure in the tank which is applied when the door is closed. The door seals stored water from the inner side of the tank, and the tank can be sealed with a small load by the water pressure in the tank, and the sealability is considerably enhanced compared with a conventional structure to perform the sealing from the outer side.
