PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal capable of securing stable communication, suppressing radio interference, and effectively utilizing network resources, and to provide a communication network. SOLUTION: A communication space for a source terminal S and a destination terminal D is divided into a passive zone PZ and an active zone AZ located at the outer circumference of the passive zone PZ according to the number of hops from an intermediate terminal M located between the terminals. Data packets of terminals belonging to the zone PZ are relayed and transmitted by single path routing and data packets of terminals belonging to the zone AZ are relayed and transmitted by multi-path routing so that the terminals in the zone PZ build up a single path as a main path wherein no radio wave interference takes place between the terminals S and D and the terminals in the zone AZ build up a bypass multi-path as a backup path of the main path within a range not interfered with the single path.
