<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker for which a leaking magnetic field level to a vicinity of the rice cooker is reduced, the temperature rise of a rice cooker main body or articles on the outside of the rice cooker main body is suppressed, and which is safe and has a high reliability by suppressing a power supply to the rice cooker when the breakage of a loop wire is judged in the rice cooker which induction-heats a pot which is freely detachably housed in the rice cooker main body by a heating coil. <P>SOLUTION: The pot 2 is freely detachably housed in the rice cooker main body, and the pot 2 is induction-heated by the heating coil 5. The feeding power amount of a power feeding means 11 which feeds electric power to the heating coil 5 is controlled by a controlling means 10, and at least one conductive loop wire 7 is arranged on the outside of the heating coil 5. The breakage of the loop wire 7 is detected by a breakage detecting section 13. The controlling means 10 is constituted in such a manner that the power feeding means 11 may be controlled in a manner to suppress the power feeding amount to the heating coil 5 when the breakage of the loop wire 7 is detected by the breakage detecting section 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
