PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ice making machine allowing easy detachment of an ice making water tank. SOLUTION: An ice making mechanism 10 comprises: a pair of ice making chambers 12, 12 cooled by a cooling pipe 14; and a water tray 16 supplying ice making water to each the ice making chamber 12. The ice making water tank 50 stored with a required amount of ice making water is slidably placed on guide rails 40, 40 below the ice making mechanism 10, and a guide member 22 of the ice making mechanism 10 is positioned below the upper end 50b of the ice making water tank 50. A placing face of the ice making water tank 50 in each of the guide rails 40, 40 comprises a step part 42 and a flat part 43. The step part 42 is formed on the rear end side of a portion facing the guide member 22 such that the upper end 50b faces a portion above the guide member 22 when the rear end face of the ice making water tank 50 is placed. The flat part 43 is positioned in a lower position than the step part 42 such that the upper end 50b faces a portion below the guide member 22 in time of slide movement allowing placing of the rear end of the ice making water tank 50.
