PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light receiving module capable of fixing an optical fiber, and securing a favorable optical positional relationship to cope with miniaturization. SOLUTION: The light receiving module is provided with an optical fiber 11 having a 1st center axis 41 at the center in an optical fiber assembly body 18 with a ferrule holder 13 surrounding an optical fiber 11 with a slant tip face and a ferrule 12, a lens 21 arranged apart by a predetermined distance from a 2nd center axis 41 as a center of rotation in a lens holder 28 mounted with the lens 21, and the light receiving element 31 mounted apart by a predetermined distance from a 3rd center axis 41 as a center of rotation, and the center of the tip face of the optical fiber 11, the center of the lens 21, and the center of the light receiving part of the light receiving element 31 are in the refractive light path from the optical fiber in this order, and aligning these center axes 41 with each other, the optical fiber assembly 18 and the lens holder 28, and the lens holder 28 and the stem 35 are welded together, respectively.
