PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dental treatment device capable of efficiently cutting without anxiety. SOLUTION: This dental treatment device has load detecting means 1 and 6 for detecting a load applied to a cutting tool 17, and a load information providing means 8 for informing the load detected by the load detecting means 1 and 6 by at least one of a display, a sound and vibration. When the load detected by the load detecting means exceeds a reference load, a driving means is controlled so as to reduce the load applied to the cutting tool. A method such as stopping and reversing the cutting tool, reducing a rotating speed and repeating normal rotation and reverse rotation, is used for its control. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
