PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination device in which electric energy to be consumed by a lamp for performances or the like is reduced while maintaining a conventional performance effect, and a game machine loaded with it. SOLUTION: The illumination device is provided with a light emitting source composed of a light emitting diode and a plurality of optical fibers connected to the light emitting source, and a spherical light emitting part formed on the other end face of the optical fiber illuminates the lamp for the performances of the game machine.
