CONTENT DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM AND CONTENT LICENSE MANAGEMENT METHOD

A content distribution system and a license management method for performing, in a collective manner, license managements of a plurality of resources constituting contents. Each content comprises one upper-level resource (which is referred to first in the content), at least one lower-level resource (which can be referred to directly or indirectly from the upper-level resource), one startup document and a license-related document (which is a information file for performing, in a collective manner, license managements of the resources constituting the content). The startup document describes at least upper-level resource reference destination information and one or more license information for determining view licenses required for viewing the resources constituting the content. In each resource, if link information for accessing another content is to be described, information for accessing the startup document of the other content is described.
