<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently use electric power when operating an oxygen enrichment apparatus in a fuel cell system. <P>SOLUTION: The oxygen enrichment apparatus 14 for producing oxygen enriched gas when it is operated with electric power is disposed in a supply system of cathode gas to the fuel cell 2. Surplus electric power in the system which is not consumed in a motor 8 is used as electric power to operate the oxygen enrichment apparatus 14. For example, in case of the fuel cell system loaded on a vehicle, electric power is regenerated when reducing speed of a vehicle and the oxygen enrichment apparatus 14 is operated with the regenerated electric power. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
