<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic searching system and an automatic searching method. <P>SOLUTION: Wide-angle image signals within a range covered with a first image acquisition device are consecutively caught, image discrimination is performed by a processor connected to the database, the first image acquisition device, and a second image acquisition device, and thus a portion matching a first feature image in the database in a wide-angle image is set as an expansion target, and the second image acquisition device is driven to catch an expanded image of the expansion target, and in the case that it is found that the expanded image has a portion matching a second or last feature image recorded in the database on the basis of the caught expanded image, a searching object is regarded to be found to start a searching report means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
