PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which is provided to a movable member and can have its luminance increased and its visibility improved, and an air-conditioner equipped with the display device. SOLUTION: A display part 3 is equipped with an open panel 2, an LED 7, a light guide plate 5, and a reflecting plate 4. The open panel 2 is fitted to an air-conditioner main body to be freely opened and closed. The LED 7 is provided to the main body. The light guide plate 5 is provided to the open panel 2 and has a light incidence surface 5A on which light emitted by the LED 7 is made incident when the open panel 2 is closed relative to the main body and a light emission surface 5B which emits the incident light. The reflecting plate 4 covers a portion of the light emission surface 5B of the light guide plate 5. The light emission surface 5B of the light guide plate 5 has a peripheral edge part 5C which is exposed in an area surrounding at least a portion of the peripheral edge of the reflecting plate 4.
