PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus capable of recognizing the detail of an intended object quickly. SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus comprises a display means capable of reproducing a photographed image while magnifying, a means for switching a region to be displayed while being magnified, a means for setting the magnification region and the display order being displayed when a magnification reproduction mode is selected, and a means for storing the information of the magnification region and the display order thus set. If switching is performed by the magnification region switching means when the magnification reproduction mode is selected, images are displayed sequentially depending on the information of the magnification region and the display order stored in the storage means.
