PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switching power supply, wherein the common mode noise component is reduced without increasing the outside dimensions of a transformer. SOLUTION: The switching power supply is constituted of the primary winding P1 and the secondary winding S1 of an output transformer T1 which are are not divided, and a first switching element TR1 and a second switching element TR2 respectively connected with both the ends of the primary winding P1 of the output transformer. A rectifying diode D1 is connected with both ends of the secondary winding S1 of the output transformer T1, and two choke coils L1 and L2 mutually connected are connected to both ends of a flywheel-side rectifying diode D2. Thus, the number of pins required for transformer bobbin is reduced to four at a minimum, the length of a wiring pattern required on a printed board is shortened, and the common mode noise is thereby cancelled out.
