PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make setting of interstation pickup responses flexibly. SOLUTION: Relay board/an attendant boards constitute one or more groups for each switching device. When a switching device receives an incoming call for a group from an outside trunk, it notifies all relay boards/attendant boards connected and other switching devices of call termination information. Other switching devices notify all relay boards/attendant boards connected of the call termination information. As a result, all relay boards/attendant boards analyze the received call termination information, and carry out call termination display processing if it is a call for their own group, and call termination processing for other groups if it is a call for another group, based on the application setting. In the call termination processing for other groups, if an unanswered state continues for a fixed period of time, the call termination display for other groups is carried out when a call of the unanswered state exists in calls for other groups and it is applicable to the condition of the call termination display for other groups. When a response from the relay board/attendant board is received based on the confirmation of the call termination display for other groups, the switching device transmits response information to the switching device which has received the call.
