PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the drawback that a monitoring side is brought into a state that it cannot perform an alarm output for an input in a normal case even if report can be performed in response to a specific input at the time of power failure, in an automatic reporting apparatus in which the monitoring apparatus reports an emergency to a police station, a firefighter station, a security company or a cellular phone of a parent via a telephone line when detecting a fire, the invasion of a thief or an urgent call from an aged person. SOLUTION: The automatic reporting apparatus 1 is provided with a back-up power source 74 to report in response to a report input from the monitoring apparatus inputted from terminals T11-T16. The apparatus 1 is provided with a call input terminal T3 for receiving the call of a calling button 25 as a specific input among a plurality of inputs to the monitoring apparatus which becomes to be in a non-operating state at the time of power failure, and a notice transfer output terminal T4. In a normal state without power failure, processing circuit 51 transfers the input of the calling button 25 from the terminal T4 to the monitoring apparatus, and if the calling button 25 is operated at the time of power failure, the processing circuit 51 performs urgent report to a reporting destination 5.
