PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that when the assignment change of computer resources is dynamically executed between logical partitions under the operation of a logical partition formula computer system, it is impossible to execute the assignment change of the resources until the resources are put into an unavailable status by a guest OS on the local partition from which resources are separated. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a resource temporary assignment management table for managing the total quantity of resources which can be simultaneously used by a user and the total quantity of resources which cannot be directly used but be temporarily used by the user, a resource temporary separation control part which excludes the quantity of resources to be separated from the quantity of resources which can be simultaneously used by the user prior to the resource separation processing to make the resources immediately available in the other logical partitions, a resource connection control part which can connect the resources released so as to be temporarily available by the resource temporary separation control part to the other logical partitions and a resource separation control part which completely releases the temporarily used resources when the resource separation processing is completely ended.
