PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for driving a liquid crystal display device that can further reduce polarization of liquid crystal. SOLUTION: Liquid crystal of each pixel is driven with a voltage signal applied between a pair of electrodes; and the voltage signal applied to the liquid crystal of the pixel has its polarity switch in order and is applied and the application time of one polarity is made different from the application time of the other polarity.
